About Zyrka

We offer personalized service. We're not a big, nationwide corporation. Our clients are not numbers on a balance sheet to us. We know that our clients' success is directly related to our own and we approach every service call and consultation with that in mind.

The Senior Staff:

Clark Sandlin:

Spend just a few minutes with Clark and you will notice he is a bit of a perfectionist. He sets the bar high for himself and for those who work for him. Consequently, he has assembled a top-notch team with an exceptional work ethic. With 18 years of IT consulting experience, Clark has a knack for squeezing high performance out of low cost technology and defying conventional approaches to IT. Clark earned a degree in Professional and Technical Communications from the University of Memphis where his Russian roommates introduced him to hockey and caviar. He has played hockey for the past 10 years and actively supports the Dallas Stars and the Dallas Stars Foundation.

Jared Ambra:

Jared was one of those precocious kids who felt uncontrollable urges to take apart the family VCR and anything else he could get his hands on just to figure out how it worked. Don't get him started though or he will tell you every detail about what he has reverse engineered today, give you a short history lesson of that product, offer to build you one McGyver style from toothpicks and a lock of hair, and cite reference articles for further research. In addition to his six years of IT experience (including a grueling stint at Intuit), Jared has a degree from Dallas Baptist University in Print/Graphics Communications and achieved Microsoft Certification in less than one year without prodding, bribing, or training.

Dee Sandlin:

Dee never envisioned a career in IT. She was quietly enjoying 25 years in the legal field and was suddenly drafted by Zyrka one evening in 2009. What began as simply "helping out", quickly evolved into a full-time position… and the rest, as they say, is history. Dee graduated Cum Laude from the University of Texas at Arlington with a B.A. in English. She is a certified paralegal with 20 years of litigation experience, working both sides of the docket. Prior to meeting Clark in 2007 she had also never seen a hockey game but she is now an enthusiastic fan of the fast and physical sport and the Dallas Stars.
